so i wanted to try out this different approach with cleaning the linework after checking out mr.jacks wicked starcraft fan art.


man..I find it soo hard to stick to the original concept when cleaning up the lines.. and cleaning up the lines.
also i kept finding errors in the linework after i started shading it, which made the process of having a line layer multiplied on top mega annoying.

I do think it was good exercise, but I feel a little bit meh about the final product considering the amount of time spend on it :s
might put the process thing togther later.

A couple weekends ago I did a super rough and quick sketch of my amazingly beautiful girlfriend. It's super rough and quick, and also the scan is total shit, so I wasn't going to post it, but then I decided to up the contrast and just go ahead. But the scanner is total shit!

i just accidentally the ship. is this bad?

playing around with sketchbook pro, and found it pretty swet for line work.
then i took it in photoshop and tried some out rendering.
hm. looking at it i kinda prefer the line version.. might work some more one it. probably not tho.
