Bird Warrior

Many of the early Thalonistrian tribes eschewed heavy armour and ranged weapons, preferring instead to ride their War-Beetles into close combat, and given the ferocious nature of both beast and rider, this almost guaranteed that a wound inflicted in battle would be fatal. The Bug Riders would even come to replace the body parts of their mounts with cybernetic upgrades, so that eventually they would become more machine than beetle.
